Summer

Unfortunately I have had to travel a lot this summer. I mean A LOT!!!! Thankfully Jordan has been super supportive and constantly proves he is one of the best fathers of all time. The second to last time I had to travel I received a phone call way to late at night (ok 11 pm Houston TX time) informing me they were taking Kaas to the hospital because he fell face first into the coffee table and cut his face. The last week I was gone Jordan redeemed himself by taking the kids camping. The kids had a blast..... it was just a simple overnighter where they slept in the car but the kids didn't care. They were just excited to roast hot dogs and marshmallows over a open fire. No not at the same time! I just barely saw some of the pictures and I have to share them with everyone.

I have nothing to say

It has been so long since I have blogged anything..... but honestly I have nothing to say. We as a family are moving along but I have no idea in what direction. Sometimes I feel like we have taken 5 steps forward but then we are sent 15 steps back. I can't decide if we are playing a game of Red Light Green Light with The Lord or not and just when we are thinking we are close to winning the game for our current trial BAM!!! We get caught and sent back to the beginning. Oh well honest prayers and humility will help us win this round eventually. I have dear friends whose lives are in just as much can I say "turmoil" and so I honestly shouldn't be sad, bummed what have you. But really, why all the trials? When will we learn what we are supposed to learn so we can move on to the next trial.

Kaas and his dad got to go to the zoo on Wednesday. Jordan didn't tell Kaas they were going until Wednesday morning and you should have seen him (Kaas) fly out of bed because he got to go see elephants and zebras and monkeys. Kora unfortunately had to go to school and I got to go to work that day but it didn't matter because when I came home all Kaas could do was talk about the elephants and how the penguins didn't have any water but he still got to see them. He even was talking about the red panda in his sleep it was priceless. Wednesday night was Jordan's night to take Kora out on a date, they went to the U of U basketball game..... Go Utes!!! Kora was so excited that she got to go on a date with her daddy. I think the kids have one of the best dads in the whole wide world.

I feel as though I should apologize for my husbands actions! Just kidding. When we added music to our blog we knew we didn't want to add sappy music, so we decided we would add the music we loved to listen to hence the Jonas Brothers, Barenaked Ladies etc. Then one night after I had fallen fast asleep he jumps onto the blog and adds close to 20 songs. Songs I really didn't understand why he had to add them. However I have put my feelings aside because I really want him to share this with me. Please enjoy the music and if you can't handle it then please just select another song from the bottom or simple pause the song! We want you to continue coming back to share in our life.
